VaporGuard Filters

 Surplus gas canister

This is a canister filled with activated carbon which sorbs surplus anesthesia gas. Adsorption performance never slow down even if you lay it down.

  • Usage: Connect a tube to the adaptor on the filter (outer diameter: 22mm / inner diameter: 15mm), and run surplus gas from a circuit of an anesthesia system to the filter. Adsorbed materials: Halogenated agents (Isoflurane, sevoflurane, halothane, desflurane and enflurane)

Q. How long is one filter available? A. You should measure the weight of a filter before use. Activated carbon is gaining weight by adsorbing anesthesia gas. You should measure the weight regularly, and it's time to change the new one when it gains weight of 50g comparing before use. * Please use a space for weight on the reverse of the filter.
